Proper design and cabling of the facility is one of the most important things that must be faced at the stage of planning and implementing an intelligent building system application. It is the decisions that we will make at the stage of the preliminary analysis that will largely determine what functionalities will be possible to implement. Each installation, regardless of its size, should be developed and implemented according to a well-prepared scheme of operation divided into appropriate stages, which include:
Stage I - DEVELOPING THE CONCEPT - should include arrangements made with the Investor in terms of the expected functionality and specify the approximate number of technologies to be integrated together with a short functional description of individual systems and their methods of operation.
Stage II - SELECTION OF TECHNOLOGY AND DEVICES - is the preparation of a list of devices whose technical specification guarantees the achievement of the assumed functionalities.
Stage III - DESIGN - this stage should include the preparation of documentation taking into account detailed plans of the facility with marked elements of individual systems along with detailed connection diagrams and specification of devices adopted for the implementation of the system.
Stage IV - OFFERING - is the preparation of an appropriate offer taking into account the assumptions and technologies adopted in the project.
Stage V - CABLING INSTALLATION - includes the execution of all cable routes, both electricity and teletechnical installations covered by the project, necessary for the proper operation and integration of individual systems.
Stage VI - EQUIPMENT ASSEMBLY - begins when the cabling installation works are completed and covers the installation of all devices specified in the project, together with their connection to the cable infrastructure.
Stage VII - COMMISSIONING AND PROGRAMMING - includes commissioning of installed devices within individual systems, but also includes programming relations between various technologies in order to achieve the expected functionality assumed at the stage of development.
Stage VIII - SERVICE AND WARRANTY - includes training the staff in the principles of operating the implemented and launched applications as well as providing information on the maintenance and service of devices.
